Additionally, we may collect usage data, browser information, and device information when you visit our website.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide to create and display your business listing on our directory platform. Your business details are used to make your listing searchable by potential customers. Your contact information is displayed publicly so customers can reach you directly. We use your email address to send OTP verification codes and important notifications about your listing. Event registration information is used to manage event participation and communicate event details. We may also use aggregated, anonymized data for analytics and platform improvement purposes.
3. Information Sharing & Public Disclosure
When you register your business on DBG, the following information becomes publicly visible to all website visitors: your business name, owner name, phone number, email address, business address, category, description, and uploaded images/videos. Your phone number will be displayed as a clickable link and will also be linked to WhatsApp for direct customer contact. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. However, by making your listing public, you acknowledge that your information will be visible to anyone who visits our platform.
4. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Your password is stored in our database and we recommend using a strong, unique password. We are not responsible for any unauthorized access to your account resulting from weak passwords.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your business listing at any time by logging into your dashboard. You can update your business information, change images, or modify contact details through the user dashboard. You may request deletion of your listing and associated data by contacting our support team. Upon deletion, your information will be removed from public search results within 24 hours. You may also opt out of promotional communications while still receiving essential service notifications.
